Happiness is a journey

I've been reading a few different books lately and have come across several inspirational sayings. This one struck a cord with me so I thought I'd share it with you.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination

For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life, but there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. I agree with this philosophy but would go even further and say I believe if you feed your soul you will be truly joyful not just happy. What do you believe? I'd be keen to read any quotes you relate to.
